Funded under the LIFE + programme of the European Commission, Dynamap is a project aimed to develop a dynamic noise mapping system able to detect and represent in real time the acoustic impact of road infrastructures.
To that end, an automatic monitoring system, based on customized low-cost sensors and a software tool on a GIS platform, has been developed and implemented in two pilot areas located in Rome (Italy), along the Motorway A90, and in a significant portion of the agglomeration of Milan (Italy).
In order to disseminate the projects results, a conference have been arranged addressed to road engineers, researchers and technicians.
In the first part of the conference, the project partners will give a general overview of the project and of the main results achieved; in the second part, networked project coordinators will describe the main issues and progress of their projects.
The conference will be held in Rome on June, 06 2019. More details will be soon available.
